Afonwen Laundry employs over 160 people and has the capacity to handle over 1.2 million items of linen a week, making it one of the largest, independently-owned laundries in the whole of the United Kingdom operating from three sites at Pwllheli, Cardiff and through our sister company, Whiteriver Laundry in Leeds

We've invested over £6 million in our business since 1999 in our main production facility in North Wales and in the spring of 2008 unveiled our exciting new plans for an additional £5m investment programme to open the largest commercial laundry in South Wales, taking our total capacity to being able to handle over 1.2 million items of linen a week, an awful lot of dirty laundry by anyone's standard!
